Lodging money into your account by cheque or bankers draft
Simply send us your cheque or draft and we’ll do the rest.
Cheques and drafts should be made payable to Nationwide UK (Ireland) and include the account holder name or account number in the payee line.
E.g. Nationwide UK (Ireland), << Your Name >> or Nationwide UK (Ireland), << Your Account Number >>
We cannot accept cheques made payable to third parties and for security reasons we are also unable to accept travellers cheques and cash.
Your funds will start earning interest on the bank working day following lodgement and will be cleared for withdrawal from the seventh bank working day after lodgement.
For Fixed Rate Savings Accounts, additional lodgements are not allowed. However, additional Fixed Rate Savings Accounts may be opened.
